2020-21 Season

While this has been an unusual season, taking place in

the virtual world, WRC is excited to continue to share

music with you.

Our Annual Holiday Concert was presented online and included some of our favorite pieces from our archives as well as a new Virtual Choir performance. You can watch our recording of Dan Forrest's See Amid the Winter's Snow on  our YouTube channel.

This exciting new program will premiere on Friday, June 4th on our YouTube channel. It will feature all new recordings by the Chorale and original artwork and poetry readings by local students.

WRC is grateful to Cuyahoga Arts and Culture for extending their grant for this project into this season.

The Western Reserve Chorale, based in Northeast Ohio, uses the power of a diverse range of choral music, often with orchestral accompaniment, to enrich the lives of its audience with free public performances. WRC also provides an engaging opportunity for members to experience the camaraderie and joy of high quality ensemble singing.

Due to COVID-19 our rehearsals and performances will be entirely online this season. The silver lining is that we can invite singers and audience to join us from anywhere in the world!

Rehearsals and social time will take place

using Zoom on Tuesday evenings.

The operation of the Chorale is overseen by the WRC Board, elected from the membership. Funding for the group comes from advertising, grants, donations, and member support. Annual member dues are set each year by the board, and are requested from each member at the beginning of the season. In the last few years we have obtained matching project grants from Cuyahoga Arts and Culture, the Ohio Arts Council, and foundations including the AHS Foundation.

Western Reserve Chorale is a designated 501(c)(3), non-profit organization.
